NYC Veda Collective LLC (“The Spring”, “we”, “our” or “us”) 145 6th Avenue Studio 6E, New York, New York 10013 owns and operates the website at which it offers the products and services described, including Vedic Meditation Courses, Group Meditation and Knowledge Sessions, Intro Talks, Rounding Workshops, Wellness Workshops and related activities (the “Services”).  We respect your right to privacy.  The purpose of this Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) is to describe and disclose to you what kind of information we may collect from you and how we may use or disclose that information in connection with the Services.

As explained below, we collect information from you and other visitors and users (collectively, “you”, “your”, or “users”) of our website in various ways when you interact with our website (collectively, the “Site”), including, for example, registering for the Services, visiting or browsing through the Site for other purposes, or participating in or using any Service.  By using our Site and/or Services and providing any information to us through the same, you consent to our collection and use of information as explained in this Privacy Policy and agree to be bound by our Terms of Use.

Information We Collect

Information you give us

We collect personally identifiable information from you voluntarily give us when you interact with the Site, including but not limited to, signing up for our newsletter and registering for the Services.  For example, when you register for Services on the Site you will be voluntarily providing to us, through our vendor Acuity Scheduling, your first and last name, email address, phone number and other information. We also collect information you provide when you fill in forms on the Site, enter a contest or promotion sponsored by us, fill out a survey, provide feedback or submissions to our Site, or contact us through our Site or our services.

Information we get from your use of our website and services

We collect non-personally identifiable information from you regarding your usage of our Site (“Non-Personally Identifiable Information”).  Non-Personally Identifiable Information may include, without limitation, website pages viewed in our Site, websites visited before coming to our Site, browser type, operating system, web pages clicked, time spent viewing pages on our Site, frequency of visits to our Site, connection speed, and your date(s) and time(s) of visits to the Site, and/or other information which does not specifically identify you.  We collect this information using various technologies (some of which are described below). To Subcontractors.  We may disclose personal information to contractors, subcontractors and third party service providers we use to support our business and help us provide our services.

Change of Control or Sale.  If The Spring is involved in a merger, acquisition, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution or asset sale we may share your information as part of the transaction or in preparation for it.

We may disclose aggregated information about our users, and information that does not identify any individual, without restriction.


Accessing and Updating your Personal Information

You may update or correct your information through our email newsletter.  We aim to maintain our services in a manner that protects information from accidental or malicious destruction. Because of this, after you delete information from our services, we may not immediately delete residual copies from our active servers and may not remove information from our backup systems.


Information Security

We make reasonable efforts to protect your personal information, but no company, including us, can fully eliminate security risks connected to handling information on the internet.


When this Privacy Policy Applies

Our Privacy Policy applies to the services offered by NYC Veda Collective LLC and its affiliates, but excluding services that state that they are offered under a different privacy policy. If you are registering for or participating in our sweepstakes contest, participation is subject to the rules and regulations applicable to the sweepstakes. If this Policy conflicts with or is inconsistent with a statement in the those rules and regulations concerning your privacy, the rules and regulations will apply.

Our Privacy Policy does not apply to services offered by other companies or individuals, including products or sites that may be displayed to you on our services, sites that may include our services, or other sites linked from our services.


International Users

Our website and services are marketed and intended for use by persons in the United States. Personal information you provide may be processed on servers inside or outside the United States.


Children under the Age of 13

Our website and services are not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are under 13, do not use or provide any information on our website, products or services. If we learn we have collected or received personal information from a child we will take steps to delete that information as soon as possible.


California “Do Not Track” Notice

Our website and services do not respond to Do Not Track (DNT) signals. Some third party sites do keep track of your browsing activities when they serve you content, which enables them to tailor what they present to you. Third parties can find out about you from the information you share on our website and services.
