Our Mission

We believe meditation supports individuals in creating a more peaceful, equitable world for all.

To that end, we’re here to share the practice of Vedic Meditation and support you through your meditation journey.

With The Spring, you get personalized instruction, support with your practice, practical teachings grounded in Vedic philosophy, and a conscious community in which to grow.

Because true well-being includes multiple dimensions of wellness, we also offer a range of complementary modalities and classes to support your holistic well-being.

All that we do is rooted in our connection to India, the birthplace of the Veda and the source of our practice. We are deeply grateful to the teachers who have kept this knowledge alive for thousands of years.

Our Values

Conscious Community

Both online and in-person, we aim to create warm, inclusive spaces where community members feel comfortable sharing vulnerably and showing up as their whole, authentic selves. We know our community is made stronger by all forms of diversity.

Accessibility

We’re committed to making Vedic Meditation accessible to all who wish to learn. Students experiencing financial hardship may apply for scholarships or contribute volunteer hours to cover their course fees. We are continuously exploring ways to make Vedic Meditation accessible to more people.

Inner Wisdom

We believe Vedic Meditation helps people tap into their own inner knowing. While the Veda provides a powerful framework for understanding and navigating life, we also encourage our community to seek answers within themselves and let their inner wisdom guide their choices.

Integrity

We honor integrity in our teaching practices and our relationships with community members. We hold ourselves accountable through our code of ethics.

Multiple Modalities

We view meditation as a foundational practice, but we also believe true well-being requires a variety of approaches that address multiple dimensions of wellness, including the spiritual, physical, social, emotional, intellectual, financial, and environmental.

Humanness

Although meditation can enhance our lives in countless ways, we are also imperfect humans having messy, complicated experiences and our teachings are always grounded in this understanding. We’re continually exploring what it means to walk a spiritual path while staying open to the full spectrum of human experience.

Light-Heartedness

Our approach to meditation is easy and enjoyable, and we try not take life too seriously. While meditation and spirituality can feel intense at times, they also help you have more fun – we promise!
